Panel: C8 Exposure Linked to Liver Function, Preeclampsia

New findings on C8 exposure have been released as a court appointed Science Panel works toward completion of their investigation into the chemical’s potential for human health effects. The results provide answers to some looming questions about the manufacturing substance known as PFOA or perfluorooctanoic acid, which has been used at DuPont Washington Works to produce Teflon since the 1950s.
